Service technician for a traffic control company with a wide variety of equipment and vehicles. The service technician will be working on individual projects or be working with others on larger projects. We will provide instruction and assistance on all projects the service technician will be working on.
Service Technician Duties
- Perform routine maintenance on all equipment and vehicles
- Inspect all equipment and vehicles for damage or broken parts
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues
- Keep detailed records of repairs done and parts used
- Ensure a safe, organized and tidy workspace
- Keep machinery and tools in good working condition
- Clean and maintain all tools and equipment used
- Support coworkers and be a good team player
Service Technician Requirements
- Familiarity with basic tools
- Ability to work in uncomfortable and physically demanding positions at times
- Ability to be on one's feet the majority of the day
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 75 pounds
- Follow instruction and be a team player
- Willing and eager to learn
- Ability to weld or willing to learn how to weld is a plus
