Zip Beverage in Missoula is looking to hire a full time delivery driver to service retail accounts. Applicants must be hardworking, detail oriented, and work well in a fast paced environment. Full time positions include benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, and 401k.
Responsibilities Include:
Drive tractor trailer or straight truck combination to deliver product to retail accounts
Work product into store by merchandising, rotating onto shelves/backstock, and building displays in retail accounts.
Complete route paperwork accurately. Collect cash/checks from customer and record transactions on invoice. Add/Subtract payments, debits, credits. Basic understanding of Apple iOS platform.
Ensure accurate completion of Department of Transportation checklist and report maintenance problems and accidents in a timely manner
Maintain positive brand image in accounts by keeping stock clean and organized. Work alongside route salesmen and follow directions.
Meet operation efficiency measures as per Zip Beverage's guidelines
Daily deliveries can range inbetween 350-750 cases and/or 15-75 kegs
Qualifications:
Must be at least 19 years of age
Class A or B Commercial Driver's License and DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate required OR the motivation to obtain a Class A CDL within 60 days
High School Diploma or GED required
Beverage delivery experience preferred
Able to effectively use pallet jack, hand truck, carts, and forklifts
Good oral and written communications skills
Regularly lift/bend/twist/move package product weighing 15lbs-45lbs
Frequently lift/move keg products weighing 90lbs-160lbs
Work with minimal supervision; willingness to learn; flexibility and enthusiasm for job
Schedule for this position will be four 10 hour shifts Tuesday-Friday. Hours worked will start inbetween 4am-4:30am and have various end times during the afternoon.
