Big Sky Bikes is hiring for the upcoming 2024 season!
We are looking for friendly, outgoing individuals to join our front of house sales team! Previous experience in a bike shop/retail environment is preferred but we are willing to train the right person. Duties will include greeting and assisting customers, answering phone calls, checking in bikes for repair, and assembling new bikes. Ideal candidates will be familiar with mountain, gravel, road, and e-bikes and be able to answer basic technical questions.
Duties and Qualifications:
-Greeting customers as they enter the store and answering phones
-Ascertaining customer's cycling related needs and guiding them to the products and services to meet those needs
-Educating customers on the use, operation, and care of the bicycles, clothing, and accessories we sell
-Maintain knowledge of current products, sales and promotions
-Clean, restock, and maintain the sales floor
-Assembling new bikes both for the sales floor and for customers
-Great customer service and communication skills
-Willingness to learn new skills and information
-Strong attention to detail
-Ability to work in a team environment and assist coworkers
-Flexibility with scheduling including Saturdays
