Position Title: Budtender
To conduct daily operations of Great Northern Pharmacy and Retail Dispensary:
to include retail sales, cash handling, inventory reconciliation, inventory and
product organization, customer service, regulatory compliance, patient
communication, patient & product education, ID verification, and
customer/community outreach.
It is also the Budtender's responsibility to ensure Great Northern Pharmacy
follows and implements a conscientious healthcare operations model, striving to
operate under the highest standards of customer service, patient care, and
professionalism.
Skills:
The Budtender needs to be a self-started, critical thinking, engaging sales person, and always customer and
compliance focused. In addition, the ideal Budtender will be solutions oriented, results driven, and a strategic
planner that excels in client relationships, verbal communication, and data entry proficiency. Furthermore, Great
Northern Pharmacy expects the Budtenders to possess a high level of medical and retail cannabis industry and
market knowledge, the ability to communicate with team and team leaders, and maintain high quality patient-staff
relationships. The ability to accurately communicate current product knowledge, inventory and trends is crucial.
Responsibilities and Expectations:
● Satisfies and completes store operational requirements and always makes sure to stay busy working on company
projects and related tasks.
● Reports inventory contradictions to the Retail Manager to ensure that dispensary center inventory is inline with
the inventory control system. Ensures proper reconciliation with METRC.
● Maintains consistent patient records as a function of the perpetual inventory control system to reflect the status of
a patient as a member/non member and to track how much medical or recreational marijuana may have been
purchased over any specified amount of time.
● Maintains comprehensive knowledge on products and services provided by Great Northern Pharmacy.
● Ensures all dispensary center operations are conducted in a secured environment that is perpetually recorded via
video surveillance. Budtenders are required to ensure all money and inventory handling is conducted on camera in
a way that is clearly visible upon video review.
● Understand fluctuating sales promotions, clearance sales, patient consumption trends and community outreach &
partnership programs in a way that may help customers understand available products and services offered by Great
Northern Pharmacy.
● Provides a safe and clean environment by regularly conducting cleaning procedures and establishing habits of
good hygiene, general tidiness and adequate organization.
● Upholds the stability and reputation of Great Northern Pharmacy by complying with all State, County and Local
legal requirements.
● Retains knowledge pertaining to retail software systems (Dutchie & Greenbits) and is responsible for accuracy of
data input values and other aspects of computer system applications.
● Must have a reliable form of transportation and be able to demonstrate a pattern of timeliness and reliability.
Qualifications:
● Must be 18 years of age or older.
● Must have a valid Montana Cannabis Workers Permit (Badge).
● Ability to perform repetitive functions.
● Strong attention to detail and focus on accuracy.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
DOE & subject to change upon growth and expansion of Great Northern Pharmacy.
