POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT

Position: Data Entry/Information Processing Technician

Schedule: 40 hours/week: Monday-Friday (between 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.)

Compensation: $20.00 plus an excellent benefit package that includes health, vision, dental, retirement, vacation, sick leave, etc.

Opening Date: 3/29/2024

General Purpose:

This position is a Data Entry/Information Processing Technician for the HRC Energy Programs. This detail-oriented Technician reviews and accurately inputs data into several data collection systems locally and on remote servers. This position performs scheduling and assists in the coordination of the Weatherization program staff activities, maintaining weatherization files and tracking all work from audit to completion. This position has the responsibility to assure all materials are ordered, received, and inventoried, collate incoming invoices and paperwork to facilitate payment to vendors, track all job costs, and assure files are complete and correct.

Education and Experience:

The knowledge and abilities necessary for this position are usually acquired through a combination of education and experience equivalent to a two-year degree in business, administration, or data entry and processing and two years of progressively responsible experience in a construction or minor home repair setting. At least one year of previous data entry experience required. Completion of basic computer courses or experience with computer operation in the course of conducting job duties required. Other combinations of education and experience which could provide these skills and abilities will be evaluated on an individual basis.
