Production Operator Job Overview:

The Production Operator is responsible for applying designs to products through various processes such as sublimation, heat transfer, and direct to garment. Under the direction of the Production Coordinator, they will carry-out daily DTG tasks including t-shirt printing, picking the correct blank as needed, and mug sublimation, ensuring all products meet our quality standards. Additionally, the Production Operator will move through the machine start-up and shut-down checklists, perform routine maintenance of the DTG machinery, and assist with organization and clean-up of the production department. The Production Operator will also work closely with the Warehouse Manager to complete additional responsibilities as assigned.

Hours: 30-40 hours/week

Starting wage: $19.25/hour

What you’ll do:

- Use heat presses, ovens, and other equipment to cure designs onto products, following outlined procedures;

- Print and cut designs using a Dye-Sublimation Printer;

- Maintain routine printer maintenance;

- Complete quality control checks on final products;

- Ensure manufacturing stations are kept neat, orderly, and trash emptied daily.

The Ideal Candidate:

- Responsive and conscientious;

- Strong attention to detail (Must be able to visually inspect colors);

- Ability to focus and have an attention to safety procedures;

- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships;

- Ability to communicate effectively;

- Color management skills, preferred but not required;

- Previous DTG experience, preferred but not required;

- Experience with wide format digital printers and their software, preferred but not required;

- Sublimation experience, preferred but not required.
