Reports to: Marketing Communications Manager

Role Type: 40 hours/week

Schedule: Monday - Friday (8:00 am to 5:00 pm) with occasional weekends and evenings

Rate of Pay: $30 per hour

General Position Description:

The Marketing and Outreach (M&O) Program Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the M&O team in achieving their goals of increasing brand recognition, maximizing course enrollment, and promoting organizational offerings. This position offers a dynamic opportunity to contribute in the following areas:

-Administrative Support: Assist with organizational tasks, tracking deadlines, maintaining efficient processes, and cross-team project coordination.

-Digital/Written Content Creation and Optimization: Develop, write, and refine engaging content for websites, blogs, and email campaigns to align with marketing goals.

-Visual/Audio Content Gathering and Creation: Support content creation by collecting content during retreats, teachings, and events, then assist with leveraging that content.

The Program Coordinator provides administrative support, content creation, and project management to ensure efficient operations and impactful digital engagement. This role requires strong processing, writing, and creative thinking skills. Additionally, it requires proficiency in CRM platforms like HubSpot, and effective content and project management. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and skilled at translating complex ideas into accessible, engaging narratives.

Duties and Responsibilities Include:

Administrative Support

-Manage receipts and administrative processes.

-Take detailed notes during team meetings and ensure timely distribution.

-Organize and maintain the Google Drive file system, ensuring adherence to document-saving protocols.

-Track deadlines and ensure the team stays on schedule.

-Assist with Asana boards to coordinate project deliverables and deadlines across teams.

-Monitor project updates cross-functionally and share progress reports with team members.

-Collaborate with internal teams to manage project timelines and deliverables effectively.

Digital/Written Content Creation and Optimization

-Develop and maintain blog and website content, collaborating with internal teams and contractors to optimize for SEO, user experience, and conversion.

-Perform regular content updates based on SEO insights and analytics.

-Use materials from teachings, retreats, and events to write engaging and accessible narratives on Buddhist concepts.

-Compile and draft monthly inspirational emails using insights from One Community videos.

-Track email performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.

-Utilize HubSpot for workflow creation, list, and form management, and A/B testing to optimize email campaigns.

-Write compelling product descriptions to communicate Namchak publishing products.

-Add and update Namchak Publishing product information within the sales platform.

Visual/Audio Content Gathering and Creation

-Support team in leveraging content from retreats and events by attending in-person events, gathering content, and assisting in repurposing that content.

-Review retreat recordings to identify guided meditations and other practices suitable for the Spotify channel.

-Respond to comments on platforms like Insight Timer and YouTube to foster community engagement.

-Edit and upload teaching videos to YouTube.

-Identify potential video content from retreat recordings for broader digital distribution.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

-Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Communications, Marketing, Digital Media, or a related field.

-Proven experience in digital content creation and management, preferably in a B2B or technology-focused environment.

-Solid writing and storytelling abilities with experience in creating engaging content for diverse audiences.

-Proficient in HubSpot or similar CRM tools, Asana, and Google Workspace.

-Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to track and meet deadlines across multiple teams.

-Experience in digital content creation, including email marketing and video editing.

-Excellent organizational and project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

-Understanding of digital marketing principles, including social media marketing, email marketing, and content distribution strategies.
