We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Painter to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals looking to develop their skills in painting while working in a supportive and hands-on environment. You will assist in preparing surfaces, selecting and mixing paints, and applying finishes using industry-standard tools and equipment. Safety and quality will be key priorities as you learn and grow in this position.
Responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary.
Select and mix paint to achieve desired colors and finishes.
Apply paint using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment according to best practices.
Ensure a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety standards and protocols. Touch up and finish painted areas to meet quality standards and specifications.
Assist with the setup and maintenance of painting equipment and tools.
Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure project timelines are met.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Relevant training or coursework in painting is a plus.
No prior painting experience is required, but willingness to learn is essential.
Knowledge of basic painting techniques and materials is preferred.
Ability to lift heavy objects and work on ladders or scaffolding as required.
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Background check and drug screen required upon offer of employment.
