Our small, independent optometry clinic is hiring for a part-time (20-25 hours a week) receptionist/optometric technician who enjoys working with people in a clinic setting. Previous experience in a medical office is preferred, but we will train the right person. Duties would include, but not be limited to, patient scheduling, answering telephone calls, collecting payments, utilizing equipment for patient testing, contact lens inventory, and office care. Wages are based on experience.
Our ideal candidate:
Passionate about providing customer service in an office setting
Previous experience as front desk or technician work in a medical, optometry, or other healthcare practice
Hard-working and interested in a long-term position as our office continues to grow
The preferred hours we are looking at hiring for are Tuesday through Fridays from about 10:00 AM to 4-5:00 PM, as well as several Saturdays a month from 8:30-1:00 PM.
