We are a bakery and barkery here in beautiful Missoula, MT, specializing in all things sweet and savory for pets and people. We are looking to fill several important positions. Currently looking to hire 2 people you can open the bakery as well as make coffee plus prep and bake productid. Summary: Responsible for the preparation and presentation of menu items as listed on menus and plating instructions. Follow the direction of the kitchen manager in maintaining the highest standards of food quality, taste and production.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Include the following but not limited to:
● Proceed in filling customer food order as needed
● Proceeds in preparation of all menu items in assigned area on a daily basis in a timely manner
● Prepares and serves all food items for a la carte and special event menus according to recipes and standards
● Have an understand of mixing methods
● Follows any and all recipes
● Ability to check and complete mise en place and pars to set-up station
● Precisely follows portion control, presentation of food, consistency of food, flavor, done-ness as determined by the kitchen manager.
● Consults with kitchen manager on forecasts and special orders and asks for specific duties to prepare items to specifications
● Maintain all coolers for proper rotation of food items to prevent spoilage
● Ensures adequate amount of product is on hand and will inform supervisor of items that need ordered.
● Maintain a clean, organized and sanitary work area following Servsafe and local health department guidelines.
● Follows all Bolt & Bruizer’s policies and procedures
● Alerts direct supervisor to any food quality issues that could have an adverse effect on operations.

● Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times

Language Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and extreme heat. The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the environment is high.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands, talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee may need to lift up to 50 pounds and assistance will be provided if needed.
