Find your future with us.Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Experienced MH-139 Avionics Mechanic willing to work on 1st and/or 2nd shift supporting the MH-139 program at Malmstrom AFB, Montana. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.Position Responsibilities:
Maintains, repairs, and modifies avionics components of moderate difficulty
Maintains and repairs aircraft components including but not limited to flight controls, engines, hydraulics, pneumatics, fuel systems, and mechanical components
Applies technical knowledge of airframe and power plant systems in resolving equipment malfunctions and applies required expertise in restoring equipment condition and or operation
Applies comprehensive technical expertise to solve moderate to complex problems by interpreting user documentation such as blueprints or manufactures' manuals
Will be using basic knowledge of electrical theory
Working knowledge of technical publications
Assembles, disassembles and/or modifies systems by changing, removing, replacing or upgrading aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes
Oversees assembly, disassembly or overhaul
Configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment
Performs validation/verification testing of systems and components
Documents procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications and inspection results)
Inspects components and verifies repairs for flight worthiness requirements
Works under general direction
This position requires an active U.S. Interim Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Minimum of 3 years' experience with rotorcraft maintenance
Minimum of 3 years' experience with avionics and aircraft systems
Must have thorough knowledge of aircraft unique tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, sheet metal brakes and sheers.
Must be willing to work variable shifts
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Experience with MH-139 maintenance and/or modifications
Hold or held an Airframe and Power plant (A&P) License
General Mechanic experience desirable
Typical Education/ Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 4 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+2 years' related work, Bachelor, etc.).Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
