CENTURY COMPANIES, INC., A HIGHLY REPUTABLE HEAVY CIVIL, CONCRETE AND ASPHALT PAVING CONTRACTOR BASED IN LEWISTOWN, MONTANA, IS ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITION:FIELD MECHANICClassification: SeasonalCompensation: Prevailing Wage or comparableJob Location: Montana/North Dakota/WyomingPosition Objective:Position involves the maintenance, diagnostics, and repair of various types of mobile heavy equipment in locations throughout Montana, North Dakota and Wyoming.Essential Functions:Identify and complete preventative and break/fix maintenanceProvide professional/technical advice to operators concerning issues with equipment operationsProvide professional/technical advice to the Maintenance Manager on new and innovative ideas concerning equipment technologyRespond to and address nonfunctional equipment working after hours as necessary.Complete regular inspectionsTune and configure equipment for optimal utilization and efficiencyProvide daily reportCheck messages on a regular basis and respond accordinglySeek out and participate in appropriate training and conferencesOther duties as assigned by supervisorCompetencies:Class A Commercial driver's license with Tanker and Hazardous Material endorsement preferred.
