Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team! The ideal candidate must have a strong background in auto body repair and restoration, with experience in various techniques including welding, fabrication, and detailing. This role requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to use hand and power tools effectively. The Auto Body Technician will be responsible for restoring vehicles to their original condition while ensuring high-quality workmanship and attention to detail.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2+ years auto-body repair experience required
Gold Class ICAR-certified preferred
Able to perform collision repairs to high standards and OEM procedures
Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance, given preference
Proficiency in welding & fabrication work is essential
Ability to operate various hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely and effectively
Experience in auto restoration projects is a plus
Familiarity with detailing techniques and tools used in the auto body industry
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to perform heavy lifting up to 50lbs as required, and the physical duties of the position
Must provide own tools to perform job duties
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Responsibilities
Perform auto body repairs on various vehicle makes and models, ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality guidelines.
Utilize welding techniques for structural repairs and fabrication tasks.
Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks as needed, including mechanical repairs and assembly work.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to shop safety protocols.
Handle heavy lifting of parts and equipment as necessary during the repair process.
Collaborate with team members to ensure the timely completion of projects while maintaining quality standards.
