Are you a hands on, self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic? Do you have mechanical skills, a clean driving record, and the ability to pitch in wherever needed? If so, we want you to join our team!

At Big Sky Finishes, we specialize in high quality house painting and we are looking for a field support technician to help ensure our operations run smoothly and efficiently.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Mechanical & Maintenance Work: Assist with routine maintenance on company vehicles and equipment (Forklift, Vans, Trailers, Sprayers), ensuring everything is in top condition for daily operations.

Logistics & Supply Transport: Pick up and deliver paint, supplies, and materials to job sites in a timely and efficient manner. Ensure that all supplies are stocked and ready for paint crews.

Trailer Operation: Safely back up and maneuver trailers, ensuring that equipment and materials are transported without issue.

Field Support: Fill in on job sites as needed, assisting with various tasks to support the painting crew. This could include prepping areas for painting, moving materials, or providing general help where needed.

Quick fit Chain Handling: Be capable of putting on and removing chains when needed for different jobs and conditions.

Additional Tasks: Perform various tasks as needed to support the team, ensuring a smooth workflow and that all operations run efficiently.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Proven Experience with mechanical work, especially related to automotive and equipment maintenance.

Clean driving record and the ability to safely operate a company vehicle and trailer.

Strong problem-solving skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to think on your feet.

Comfortable handling tools, equipment, and performing physical labor.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Strong Communication and organizational skills.

Previous experience in a painting or construction- related field is a plus, but not required.
