Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and reliable team member to join our excavation crew. This position requires versatility and a willingness to take on a variety of tasks, from running equipment to performing hands-on labor. The ideal candidate is self-driven, capable of working independently, and able to collaborate with others to complete projects safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Perform light excavation and operate equipment including excavators, skid loaders, loaders, compactors, and related machinery
Complete routine maintenance on equipment, vehicles, trailers, and tools
Assist with excavation-related hand labor such as trenching, pipe installation, water line installation, gas installation, electric conduit placement, and vault placement
Provide general construction labor support when excavation work is not required
Assist with snow removal operations during winter months (experience preferred but not required)
Requirements:
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
Previous excavation, equipment operation, or construction experience preferred
Preferred Qualifications:
Snow removal experience
Knowledge of utility installation (water, gas, electrical)
Compensation:
$20.00-$35.00 Competitive pay based on experience
