JOB DESCRIPTION
- Greet and engage with customers with a friendly, welcoming and professional demeanor.
- Provide excellent customer service and go the extra mile in assisting our customers while shopping in our store.
- Participate in product trainings and on-going product knowledge development to better serve our customers.
- Operate our POS system and cash register and assist customers with our loyalty program.
- Maintain department cleanliness and upkeep to a high standard, including: daily cleaning tasks, product organization, steaming, tagging, moving and stocking product, organizing shoe stock, etc.
- Carry a positive attitude and contribute to a fun and energetic work environment.
- Shifts are 9:30am - 6:00pm Monday through Saturday and 10:00am - 5:00pm on Sundays.
JOB SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
- 1-2 years retail experience or other customer service related experience.
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to connect with people and build relationships.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of POS systems, computers and registers.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to create positive relationships with customers, coworkers and management.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to stay motivated independently and take initiative on projects.
- Must be able to work weekend days and holidays. We are closed on New Years Day, Easter, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day
