Qualifications:

3+ years of experience as a commercial superintendent.

Provide quality assurance from groundbreaking to close-out

Must be able to read and understand project documents such as plans, specifications, contracts. etc.

Self-motivation, punctuality, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Willingness to travel

Valid driver’s license

Job Description:

The Project Superintendent is responsible for supervising the field construction of a project and completing the work on schedule, within the budget, and to the quality of workmanship specified. In the performance of this duty, it is the Project Superintendent’s responsibility to understand and deliver Oswood Construction Company’s contractual obligations in a manner that is consistent with Oswood’s corporate culture and core values.

1. Examine and understand the contract drawings, specifications, and addenda for design deficiencies, impractical details, and possible code violations. Create detailed and accurate daily reports including receiving and reviewing the Subcontractor's Daily Reports of work done and labor and materials employed. Update, review and approve, on a weekly basis, all as-built drawings and project documents.

2. Maintain project phasing plans and schedules to ensure subcontractors understand the workflow and sequences required to the project milestone dates.

3. Develop, plan, and coordinate, with the project team, all safety standards, quality control procedures, job site security, equipment, and manpower requirements for the job site.

4. Inspect, coordinate, direct, and manage the activities of the subcontractors, suppliers, and Oswood crews.

The position is required to lift heavy objects, walk, stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions. The employee lifts, pushes, pulls, or carries objects and uses abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. The position requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multi-limbed coordination. The position requires full mobility of the back arms and legs while performing this job. The employee must have excellent physical health
