Upscale Dining Host/Hostess
We are looking for a professional and hospitable individual to join our team as a Host/Hostess. The successful candidate will be responsible for welcoming and seating guests in our fine dining restaurant.
Responsibilities:
Greet guests in a warm and friendly manner and provide them with menus.
Seat guests in a timely manner according to established seating policies.
Monitor the flow of patrons to ensure all tables are filled efficiently.
Answer questions about our menu and make recommendations to guests.
Ensure guests receive prompt and courteous service.
Manage reservations and ensure all parties are seated promptly upon arrival.
Provide guests with information about specials and promotions.
Resolve customer issues or complaints in a courteous and professional manner.
Ensure all dining areas are kept clean and organized.
Assist servers with bussing tables and other duties as needed.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a host/hostess in upscale dining is preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to provide excellent customer service.
Knowledge of food, wine, and restaurant operations.
Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
