Position: Brewer (Assistant Brewer/Cellarman/Head Brewer DOE)

Requirements: Some experience in production brewing preferred. Must be able to lift 60 lbs and move kegs and heavy pallets of grain, etc. Frequent standing, lifting, climbing steps/ladders, required. Forklift and laboratory training provided.
Job Description:
-Brewhouse Operation:
Includes working with super sacks, milling, brewing, record keeping, CIP, COP, etc
-Cellaring:
Yeast Handling: viability, cell counts, harvesting
Oversee fermentation, Dry hop schedule, VDK testing, and Sensory evaluation of each batch
Maintain records from Brew day to final packaging
-Canning line Operation:
CIP, Operate and Maintain canning line
O2 testing, Maintain canning records
-Follow safety and hygiene standards and CIP/COP SOPs throughout the brewery. Training provided on chemical hygiene and proper use of PPE.
-Maintain clean work environment
-Represent the company at Brewfests 2-3 times per year
-Fulfill daily picklist for distribution team
-Maintain in-house draught system
-Maintain Keg Fleet
-Collaborate with Head Brewer/Production Manager for:
Recipe creation and changes
QA/QC
Sensory training for staff
Improving efficiency in brew processes
Product Quality Improvements
Equipment Maintenance Schedule
