I am seeking after school and weekend childcare for my grandson with autism. Scheduling is flexible, but I am needing childcare one day on the weekend and two days after school, for a total of about 15 hours per week. Care will mostly take place in the home and at his favorite hang out space down the road in Coram, "Camp Marcus". I will be present to assist and supervise, but due to his needs, I need an extra hand sometimes to help watch him.
Some information about my grandson: he loves to swim and play outside, play on the trampoline, and do activities on his tablet! He does have communication needs, so applicants will need to be patient in getting to know him and learning best how to support him. Applicants who have experience working with children with autism are preferred.
I am currently the only caregiver for my grandchild, so I am looking to hire immediately.
