Seeking a bread baker to join our team!
This is a 36 to 40 hour a week position as follows:
Tuesday 12 - 4
Wed, Thurs, Friday 6:45 am - 3 pm
Saturdays 6:45 am - 2pm
The bread baker is responsible for the final phase of our bread production every morning. This is an active, hands on, on-your-feet for the whole shift job. This involves bending, stooping, and some lifting, though nothing too strenuous.
The bread baker is expected to learn and follow our system and stick to a daily production schedule while coordinating with others in the bread department to get desired results. Sourdough bread is our specialty so you will learn about natural fermentation. This position also includes dishwashing and food prep. You will learn about health and safety guidelines but prior knowledge in this area is a plus.
For this position, you don’t have to be outgoing but you do have to be a good communicator. The ideal candidate is humble, curious, and hardworking. Must be able to follow a recipe and do simple math. Must be good at time management.

Required skills:
Food service experience minimum one year with related references
Ability to follow a recipe and do basic math
