It's a family owned and award-winning destination that truly inspires. The Resort at Paws Up l the green o is seeking a Vice President of Sales to add to our team. As the Vice President of Sales you are responsible for generating top line revenue through outside direct sales to all segments of resort sales while also providing executive level leadership to the Event Management teams. The Primary Functions are:

Develops and maintains relationships with key clients to produce group and/or leisure business

Directly manages the group and leisure sales team efforts, setting clear goals and strategies to achieve those goals

Provides executive level leadership to the event management team to ensure all group events and special events are delivering on the commitments we have made during the sales process.

Develops resort-level tactical sales plans to support overall system-wide plans, strategies, and programs.

Develops and maintains good relationships with officials and representatives of national, local and state tourism agencies and companies, and attends relevant conventions to generate business.

Responsible for conducting resort tours for potential clients and organizing and hosting FAM tours.

Maintain high level of customer service with guest and employees.

Continuously serve as a positive role model by behaving in a professional manner and by adhering to all policies and procedures.

Work in a safe and responsible manner at all times.

Display understanding of Resort appearance standards.

Maintain regular, predictable attendance as scheduled.

Attend all mandatory meetings.

Complete other duties as assigned by supervisor to include cross training.

Looking for Team Members with:

Progressive career growth with top luxury resorts, previous executive level leadership required

Develops and manages the departmental budget and monitors sales activities/performance to ensure actual sales meet or exceed established revenue plan and to accurately report variances/projections.

Develop and maintain monthly progress reports, budget reports and group sales programs statistics. Candidates must possess contacts and knowledge of key clients in the five star group business markets and have built relationships with these accounts and their travel management companies.

Must also possess a demonstrable track record in business development, negotiations, RFP tendering and account management.
