It's a family owned and award-winning destination that truly inspires. The Resort at Paws Up is seeking to add a Preventative Maintenance Manager to our team. The Preventative Maintenance Manager, under the supervision of the Director of Facilities, is responsible for managing and controlling the preventative and predictive maintenance program for the Resort at Paws Up. The Primary Functions are:

Plan and coordinate the preventative and predictive maintenance programs for all Paws Up facilities.

Assist Overseeing operations of all Maintenance departments including, employee relations, guest service, profitability, product quality, and compliance to The Resort standards.

Develops and maintains a functional computerized preventive maintenance program, utilizing industry standards; oversees all facets of the program, ensuring compliance with the Resort, state, and federal laws, policies, and regulations.

Utilizes computerized systems to input PM orders and track status and/or completion.

Develops and maintains required parts list per each piece of equipment.

Develops and maintains a task code library, adding new tasks as needed.

Maintains records of planned and completed maintenance.

Run day to day scheduling and labor allocation to match with workload observing high and low occupancy and projects at hand.

Maintain exceptional working relationships and open lines of communication with all other departments, vendors, employees, and guests.

Keep Director of Facilities promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance coming to his/her attention so that prompt and corrective action can be taken when appropriate.

Understand each Maintenance function and train according to The Resort’s standards.

Manage training and growing exceptional Facilities Maintenance team members.

Provide day-to-day guidance and oversight of Maintenance team members; actively promote, train, coach, and recognize performance.

Identify, address and document individual team member performance problems according to standard operating procedure.

Operate hand tools, power tools, and other shop equipment; Keep all equipment in good repair with a minimum of downtime by providing day to day maintenance.

Support and improve maintenance services that effectively address problems affecting guests and team members.

Maintain cleanliness of vehicles, maintenance facilities, workspaces and storages.

Attend and often lead mandatory meetings.

Communicate and maintain timelines and priorities.

Complete all maintenance projects as assigned.

Maintain flexible hours to accommodate guest and special event’s needs, due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry; Position requires full availability including evenings, weekends, holidays or as needed.

Looking for Team Members with:

5+ years of experience in plant/facilities/building management in a large facility spread out over acres

Knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, ordinances and other federal and state requirements

Strong knowledge of building codes, rules/regulations regarding the operation of equipment and HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.

Knowledge of hotel and resort operations, including security and safety programs,employee relations, preparation of business plans, repairs, maintenance, budget forecasting, exceptional quality of service standards, and long-range planning

Exceptional management skills with a proven track record in mentoring/leading a successful team

Must be detail oriented, extremely organized, professionally polished, have an ability to work under pressure, be accountable and flexible

Valid State Driver’s License
