Great Falls Vterinary Service is looking for a veterinary Technician to join our team an outgoing, easy to get along with, animal lover!
No Expierence required:
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Assist veterinarians in examinations, surgeries, and procedures
- Perform laboratory tests. Such as microscope work : fecal smears & floats, urine and the list goes on!
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian
- Provide compassionate care and support to animals and their owners
- Monitor and care for hospitalized animals
- Educate clients on pet health, nutrition, and preventive care
- Proficiency in veterinary terminology and animal physiology
- Experience in animal restraint and handling
- Familiarity with veterinary critical care practices
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Must be able to be on your feet for numerous hours a day
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
This job is for a full-time position, Monday through Thursday from 7:30 am - 6 pm (yes three day weekends EVERY WEEK!) PTO after 1 year of being employment, paid holidays.
