Izaak Walton Inn is looking for full-time Front Desk agents for the Summer 2019 season.
Skills Required
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Leadership skills to organize and control the day to day tasks and flow of information to and from the Front Desk.
Sound judgment at all times.
Ability to prioritize tasks and duties according to Guests, business, and staff needs.
Ability to stand for a full eight hour shift, including lifting, twisting, reaching, etc.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Act as go-to person when junior agents or other departments have questions. Find solutions and act as a calm and experienced presence at the Front Desk.
Control, monitor, and display inventory of snacks, drinks, sundries etc.
Maintain and disseminate details of promos, packages, and special events that are being offered.
Assist with the auditing of rental car contracts and activities.
In the absence of an MOD, is the support person for agents asking questions. Any questions you cannot answer would be passed along to the MOD.
Maintain a presence at the Front Desk for the entirety of the shift. Use the radio to streamline other departments as needed.
