Operation Manager

Pay and benefits for employees represented by a union are outlined in their collective bargaining agreement.Position Purpose: The Operations Manager supervises nine or more full time employees in an assigned plant or department.  This position plans and coordinates activities of workers to operate and maintain water/wastewater treatment, processing disposal and testing equipment in water/wastewater treatment facility to purify water to meet permit and operational requirements.Primary Duties/Responsibilities: Oversight of day-to-day operations of nine personnel including shift schedules and employee performance evaluationsOperator Support 24/7 on-call availability,Daily logbooks.Scheduling work assignments to cover 24/7 operationsOversight of plant facility/ground maintenance, plant compliance and inspections,Oversight of safety and training programsOversight of on-site laboratory technician and operations.Process Control management to include direction, analysis, reporting and implementation.Responsible for Monthly Operating Reports: Discharge Monitoring, Solids Production Summary, Solids Balance, and ad hoc reports.Work Environment:Requires working in outside and inside environments that have various climate and noise conditions.
