JOB OPENINGGlasgow Area Chamber of Commerce & AgricultureTitle: Office Manager/AssistantDuration: Full-time position available immediatelyWages: DOE with benefit packagePosition summary: The Chamber Office Manager/Assistant will work closely with the Chamber Executive Director, Board of Directors, and office personnel. Applicants should be community-oriented, friendly, professional, and energetic. Join our FUN team!Position duties:

Provide administrative assistance as needed, including answering and screening calls, managing calendars, making meeting and event arrangements, preparing reports and financial data, social media management, and customer relations.

Assure the ongoing and consistent communication to Chamber members and the public through newsletters and other communication tools.

Send meeting information to all directors, committees, and others regarding upcoming meetings. Assist with preparation of the bi-monthly Chamber newsletter.

Work ALL Chamber events as directed. Some nights and weekends will be required.

Assist with annual membership renewal and new member onboarding and retention. Keep website up to date.

Assist in recruiting, training, and scheduling volunteers for events. Monitor levels of supplies and handle shortages.

Perform other duties as assigned by Executive Director.

Qualifications:

Strong oral and written communication skills.

Experience with social media marketing.

Exceptional customer service.

Flexibility and the ability to prioritize tasks.

Analytical abilities and aptitude in problem-solving.

Excellent time management skills.

Strong skills in Microsoft Office.

Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

Preferred Qualifications:

Volunteer recruitment and management skills.

Grant research and writing skills.

Experience in working with nonprofit boards.
