Essential Functions: Primary responsibility is to support oilfield operations. The position is diverse and job duties vary on a daily basis. May be required to work with hand tools, power tools and heavy equipment and may also be required to work in all types of inclement and/or extreme weather conditions.
Job Description & Qualifications
MUST HAVE A VALID DRIVERS LICENSE AND PASS A BACKROUND SCREENING
NO APPLICATION WILL BE CONSIDERED WITHOUT THE VALID DRIVERS LICENSE
Complete Non-NIDA drug screen successfully
Preferably 1 year experience in the Oil Field
Operate a vacuum truck
Pump leases on a weekend rotation
Communicates effectively to get along with co-workers and management and various business contacts in a professional and courteous manner. Deal effectively and professionally under pressure.
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Install and make repairs to oil and produced water tanks, including confined space entry. Install and make repairs on equipment. Install and repair piping, valves, pumps, motors and pipelines.
Dig pits and lines
Operate high pressure power washing equipment
Repair dikes, perform general ground work around well sites
Perform access road upkeep and maintenance
Clean up oil spills and general clean up
Handle/load piping and/or debris into containers
Other duties may be assigned.
Must be proficient with hand and power tools as well as heavy equipment
Safely work in a potentially hazardous environment, comply with all safety policies and procedures while performing job requirements, perform safety inspections, maintenance inspections and/or minor repairs on or under heavy earth moving equipment. Be physically qualified to work around hazardous waste and wear protective clothing, i.e.: hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, and hard toe boots as a minimum. Secure equipment and safely transport according to company policy and DOT regulation. Help identify and report any hazardous condition on the job site. Must be able to read small print and identify all posted warning signs.
Stands, bends and walks from 5-90% of shift, depending on individual assignment or job requirement, May be required to push and/or pull up to 40 pounds using both arms on a daily basis. Anything greater than 40 pounds requires assistance, mechanical or otherwise. May be required to properly/frequently lift and carry 50 lbs. and up to 100 feet, several time a day as job requires. Will be exposed to vibration from vehicle or equipment, due to uneven oilfield/construction sites or road conditions. Must be able to walk over un-even ground and hilly terrain or crawl on or under heavy earth moving equipment. Must be able to shovel with 10 lb. loads from 5-60% of shift, which includes stooping, squatting, twisting, turning while shoveling on uneven ground or surface
