Job Description:
Petersen Flooring Inc. is currently seeking a Tile Apprentice and Laborer to join our dynamic team. As a Tile Apprentice and Laborer, you will work closely with experienced professionals to gain hands-on experience and develop essential skills in the field of tile installation.
Responsibilities:
Assist experienced tile installers with various tasks, including surface preparation, tile cutting, and installation.
Learn proper techniques for laying and grouting tiles under the guidance of experienced professionals.
Support the team in maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
Demonstrate a willingness to learn and take initiative in acquiring new skills and knowledge related to tile installation.
Requirements:
No prior experience required; we are willing to train motivated individuals who are eager to learn.
Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
Ability to work well within a team and take direction from experienced professionals.
Basic understanding of hand and power tools is an asset.
Physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks that involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
