JOB DESCRIPTION:
Garden Services Team Leaders report to and works directly with the Garden Services Manager. Meet with Garden Service Manager daily and then line out their team for the day’s goals. Lead and communicate goals to direct safe and efficient loading and travel to jobsites and line out team for safe, efficient and high-quality garden services. Teach team members where needed, work side by side with team and help them to stay on task and schedule. Check in with Garden Service Manager every afternoon to share need of resources so that mornings can be efficient. Responsibilities include maintaining nursery plants/trees at our nursery, quality control of team’s work, filling out DAILY JOB TRACKING SHEETS thoroughly and accurately with vendor receipts attached and turning into appropriate place DAILY. Daily duties will include spring cutback and cleanup, leaf blowing, refreshing mulch, weeding, fertilizing, planting perennials, planting annuals in planters, deadheading, light irrigation, weeding, weed control, pruning, trash cleanup, fall cleanup, making properties look great and ensuring client is satisfaction. May assist Garden Services Manager with recruiting, hanging flyers, attending job fairs and other recruiting events, development of other winter work possibilities, photography of team and projects for use in online marketing, marketing portfolio, future recruitment, etc…
REQUIREMENTS:
Garden Services Team Leader will need experience in Horticulture and Gardening type work. Management experience highly preferred. Must possess leadership qualities: take ownership of projects, lead by example working side by side with team in the field, must be emotionally intelligent, show kindness, learn and grow, build team and company morale, ensure quality, act motivated, clearly communicate, demonstrate professional demeaner and appearance, and have strong organizational, documentation and management skills. Must have a good team member attitude. Must have an insurable Driver License. Must show up consistently and on time. Must be physically able to work for long hours on feet and lift <>50lbs. while working in the elements. Must be flexible with work schedule, project demands and work as needed to meet deadlines. Must be willing to work with Landscape Install Team from time to time in order to meet deadlines and ensure full-time employment if there is a low in Garden Service work. Horticultural or Landscape education and local (Bozeman / Big Sky / Paradise Valley) market experience highly preferred but not required.
PAY $24 to $32 / hour + BENEFITS DOE+4 DAY WORK WEEKS POSSIBLE:
