The Equipment & Logistics Assistant will be under the direction of the Equipment & Logistics Manager. The main duties of this position include the pick-up and delivery of materials/equipment to job sites and equipment/vehicle maintenance. The qualifications and experience we are looking for include:
- Clean driving record
- Ability to drive for long periods of time
- Detail orientated and organized
- Confidence/Competence driving in winter conditions
- Experience with pulling, maneuvering and backing up trailers
- Mechanical skills and small engine knowledge a plus
- Must be able to lift 50lbs without assistance
- Forklift experience required, current certification a plus
- Fleet maintenance experience a plus
- Ability to communicate clearly, effectively and respectfully
- Ability to work independently
- Schedule flexibility (availability on Fridays/Saturdays, as needed)
- Positive attitude and willingness to do what is needed to get the job done
