I am looking for a person who can learn the role of Product Specialist for a software product used by local government agencies around the US. This person would need to be able to demonstrate, discuss, configure and support the product to potential and current customers. This will be a sales and support focused position, in addition, some Quality Assurance testing and project management tasks will be necessary. Previous experience in all of these fields is not necessary, but a willingness to learn and do the tasks that need done is.
This position will require multi tasking and strong communication skills. After learning the software, and learning more of our customer's need, we will start a marketing campaign to a new market we have a few customers in already. We can arrange a commission structure for the leads that turn into clients as a result of sales work. In addition, there is an annual bonus based on good customer feedback for the support queue. No development or coding skills are necessary.
The position is for part time for now, however I expect that early in the new year, we can start onboarding enough new customers to get the position to full time. There is some flexibility here, especially if you can help us manage a growing customer base as we build our product towards a new market space.
