Locally owned and operated meat processing plant, Feddes Family Meats, is hiring for multiple positions, including:
- Cleaning Crew: part time, flexible afternoon-evening hours with potential for full-time
- Processing crew: full time/part time, floating position that will include packaging, trimming, assisting in grind room, cleaning, assisting on slaughter floor, etc. Must be at least 18 years old and able to lift at least 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Harvest Crew: full time/part time, includes dispatching, skinning, washing and weighing of carcasses, cleaning. Due to use of firearms, applicants cannot have any felonies and must be at least 18 years old. Must be able to lift of minimum of 100 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift. Strength and attention to detail are absolute musts for this position. Experience in handling animals and understanding animal welfare is a huge bonus.
