Responsibilities:
- Assist in receiving fresh food, cleaning and prepping local great ingredients
- Follow recipes to help produce batch quantities of backpacking meals
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, and utensils
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
- Assist in managing a clean dish area and sanitizing station
Skills:
- Previous experience in a banquet, hotel, restaurant, or catering setting is preferred
- Knowledge of basic culinary techniques and food handling procedures
- Commitment to safe and sanitary food
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and tasks
- Willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors
- Must have food handlers card
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 34 – 40 per week
Monday to Friday, no nights or weekends!
