PondDoctor maintains residential trout ponds around Bozeman and southwestern Montana. Trout is a sensitive species of freshwater fish that require pinpoint water parameters in order to thrive. It is important to keep trout ponds tuned to their very best year-round.
Ponds with trout require cool, clean water and specific parameters for optimal fish health. Many individuals who own a pond do not have the time to maintain their pond or are not up to speed on the best maintenance techniques and treatments for their pond. That's where we come in. PondDoctor can provide all types of pond maintenance as necessary to meet our clients' needs for any sized pond. This process will typically consist of removing submerged aquatic plants using specialized pond cleaning tools.
PondDoctor will work with pond owners to provide top-quality service and consulting for all pond and stream cleaning needs. We are knowledgeable about servicing ponds and use proven products that work for our customers.

We are looking to bring on Pond Technicians and Crew Leads to assist in maintaining ponds. Work will be full-time M-F this summer/fall season. Keep your weekends for you! The Crew Leads will be responsible for managing several Pond Technicians on pond cleaning and pond construction jobs.
These positions allow the Pond Techs and Crew Leads to travel to beautiful ranches and properties around SW Montana while working on trout ponds. Crew Leads will be operating equipment, vehicles, and specialized pond cleaning tools. This is an exciting and unique opportunity with a fast-growing company. Lots of potential for quick advancement and bonuses!
The Pond Technicians and Crew Leads will focus on removing aquatic plants from ponds including algae, pond weed, and cattails using specialized tools that are designed for cleaning. It is landscaping-type work. PondDoctor employees will also monitor and apply the necessary pond treatments to control overgrown vegetation. Work runs from May to August and picks up quickly during the summer months. Part-time work is available until the snow falls.

Requirements:
-ability to work 40 hours+ per week in summer
-must be able to lift 75 lbs.
-must have vehicle available for transportation to work (a pickup truck is attractive).
-In the summer, expect full-time work Monday thru Friday.
Wages:
$3,400+/month DOE
Bonuses also available throughout the season & and for pond job referrals.
