The CMS Crew Member assists the production team in all items relating to jobsite management, quality control, and scheduling. The company’s brand and financial performance relies on the proper execution of the responsibilities of this role.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must perform these essential duties satisfactorily:
SAFETY
Complete all tasks in adherence to CMS, OSHA, and client safety regulations
Ensure all projects adhere to CMS, OSHA, and client safety regulations
Determine and communicate to the Construction Manager and/or Site Supervisor jobsite safety needs/improvements
Communicate to the Construction Manager and/or Site Supervisor on the necessary safety trainings as seen
Ensure a safety tool-box talk is completed prior to starting any daily task
JOBSITE/OVERSIGHT/INSTALLATION
Complete jobsite-related tasks as detailed by the Construction Manager or Site Supervisor
Assist in jobsite mobilization/demobilization as detailed by the Construction Manager and/or Site Supervisor
Assist the Construction Manager and/or Site Supervisor on project oversight as directed
Work with production team to build/master construction related skill set
Provide assistant on installation for waterproofing, roofing, siding, etc.
COMMUNICATION
Use communication which aligns with CMS’s mission, core values, and branding guidelines
Ensure communication to both internal and external teams is respectful and educational
QUALITY CONTROL
Ensure all projects adhere to CMS and client standards
Provide quality control for various projects as dictated by the Construction Manager and/or Site Supervisor
ADMINISTRATIVE
Maintain and update accurate data in Procore, the company’s payroll time clock, and data collection software
Complete all purchasing with/through the Construction Manager and Logistics Manager
Accurately report purchases through the PO system detailed by the Construction Manager and Logistics Manager
Accurately report material procurement and usage
Input BT daily log detailing project standings, work completed, etc. daily
Maintain a clean and tidy workspace and shop space
