Sweet Chili Asian Bistro is looking to expand our front of house team. We are looking for highly motivated individuals who are passionate about providing a quality experience for our customers. We are looking for individuals who value being a part of a hard working team. Prior service experience is appreciated but not required, we are happy to train the right candidate.
Our menu is Asian fusion with Japanese, Thai, and Chinese inspiration in our flavors and recipes.
Scheduling is flexible and completed on a weekly basis. We are looking for people with a mix of weeknight and weekend availability. Shifts usually run 3-6 hours depending on day, shift, and position.

FRONT OF HOUSE:
Our front of house team has three main positions available, all staff members are trained in and and expected to fill any of the roles (hosts, bartenders, and servers). Front of house staff members start out as a host to build an understanding of the menu and general operations of the restaurant and then have opportunities to train up to serving and bartending based on performance.
Starting wage is minimum wage (10.30/hr) plus tips or determined based on experience. Front of house staff also receive an employee discount. All front of house staff need to complete alcohol server certification within 60 days of being hired.
HOSTS
Responsible for being the first point of contact with all customers. In charge of take out orders, managing reservations, greeting customers when they arrive and seating them, and helping bus tables when needed.
BARTENDERS (18 and older)
We have a full bar and bartenders are responsible for filling drink orders for servers as well as serving any guests seated at the bar or in nearby tables. Will receive additional tip out for preparing the drinks.
SERVERS
We expect our servers to present guests with a high quality, well-informed service experience from when they are seated until they leave the restaurant. Servers will be expected to be able to answer guest questions about the menu and provide recommendations when asked.
