We are a small tour company based in West Yellowstone, MT, Big Sky, and Bozeman, MT. We are looking for either a part time (2/3 tours per week) or full time (4/5 tours per week) guide that lives and has housing in Big Sky, MT for a seasonal guiding position (may-nov 1 only). We pay top of the pay scale and proud to say that we pay the highest wages for any guide company in Yellowstone. We have some long time established guides working for us that get paid $425 per tour plus $250 in cash tips each tour. We are open to high school science teachers that can only work June - August too!

The hired applicants will get sent an information packet prior to our start date filled with books and other resources to familiarize yourself with the most updated science and history of Yellowstone National Park.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and guide small private tours focused on wildlife interpretation, geology, and history
- Provide instruction and guidance on safety procedures and equipment usage
- Plan and organize adventure itineraries, including route selection and activity schedules
- Ensure the safety and well-being of participants throughout the adventure
- Communicate effectively with participants, providing information and answering questions
- Educate participants about the environment, wildlife, and history of the area
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere for all participants
- Maintain equipment and ensure its proper functioning
- Ability to hike 5-7 miles per day
- Attention to detail
Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Biology, ecology., natural science, geology, etc. ( any degree thats in a similar or relatable science discipline).
- Ability to educate participants about the environment, wildlife, and history of the area
- Excellent public speaking skills to engage and captivate participants
- Strong time management skills to effectively plan and execute adventures
- Exceptional communication skills to convey information clearly to participants
- Leadership abilities to guide and motivate groups during adventures
- Multilingual or bilingual skills are a plus for communicating with diverse groups
- Outstanding customer service skills to provide a memorable experience for participants
