Sky’s the Limit Tours is dedicated to fostering meaningful connections between visitors and the spectacular wilderness of Yellowstone National Park through immersive educational experiences. Now Hiring: Professional Yellowstone Naturalist Guides

Tours start at 6am & 7:30am in West Yellowstone, guides should be done with their tours between 3-4pm.

-Superior Compensation: We pay well above industry standards ($250-$280 daily pay depending on length of tour) with guides averaging $150 in daily gratuities. Tours start in West Yellowstone.

Desired Qualifications:

Interest in people and genuine desire to educate visitors with sensitivity to their unique needs

Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) in wildlife biology, ecology, geology, environmental education, outdoor education, OR equivalent degree/experience

Deep knowledge of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, including wildlife, geology, and ecology

Current CPR and Wilderness First Aid certifications (or willingness to obtain)

Current Food Handlers certification

Valid Driver’s License with excellent driving record

Successfully pass background check

21 years of age or older

Experience interpreting natural environments and leading groups outdoors

Comfort speaking to and entertaining groups for 7-12 consecutive hours

Skills

Exceptional group facilitation and communication abilities

Strong interpersonal skills with a positive, enthusiastic approach

Talent for spotting and facilitating wildlife observation opportunities

Photography skills to help guests capture memorable moments

Self-management capabilities with strong attention to detail

Safe and mindful driving practices

Advanced outdoor living skills and comfort in variable weather conditions (hot, cold, windy, rainy)

Ability to convey educational concepts through engaging stories and examples

Professional, compassionate, and accommodating approach to guest service

Responsibilities

Co-create personalized itineraries with clients, confirming logistics, number of guests, special needs, and timing

Arrive punctually with a client-ready vehicle: company identification displayed, full tank of gas, thoroughly cleaned interior/exterior, and fully stocked with essential equipment (first aid kit, bear spray, binoculars, field guides, lunches, snacks, water, hot water, etc.)

Facilitate engaging educational experiences that balance wildlife viewing, geological exploration, and cultural/historical interpretation

Perform necessary administrative duties including tour tracking, payroll submission, and management of park entrance fees

Maintain equipment and assist in keeping vehicle in excellent condition

Create memorable, informative, and enjoyable experiences tailored to each group’s interests and abilities
