Wagner Nursery & Landscaping Company is seeking an Assistant Manager at our Belgrade Garden Center location.
This person will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of the retail sales team; supervising day to day garden center tasks and responsibilities.
Responsibilities will include:
Supervise retail garden center team
Create schedule for personnel to ensure optimal efficiency
Training and evaluating employees
Develop work strategies to effectively manage day to day tasks
Qualifications:
Previous Management experience preferred but not necessary
Horticulture knowledge
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and changing work environment
Excellent communication skills
Strong leadership qualities
Self starter, self motivated, and ability to work without constant direction
Ability to lift 50 pounds easily, be on your feet all day
Knowledge to operate equipment is preferred but not necessary; however you must be comfortable with learning how.
