JOB SUMMARY
Employment Specialist is responsible for supporting individuals with disabilities to maintain employment in inclusive, community-based employment. The employment specialist works within the guidelines of the organization, state and federal laws, as well as DPHHS policy requirements. Job applicants must be available 9:00 am - 1:00 pm Monday through Friday to assist those individuals who are currently employed throughout the Billings, MT area. Initially, the job will be 15-20 hours per week, however, as the organization continues to grow there will be opportunities for additional hours.
QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or equivalent. Bachelors Degree in social services or closely related field preferred. Experience working with people with disabilities in residential and/or vocational settings strongly preferred. Ability to work as a team member across functions. Ability to pass state and federal background checks, a valid drivers license and a clean driving record required.
