Industrial Painter / Sandblaster

Location: Jobsites in St. Louis and surrounding areas (Office & Shop located in Festus) | Pay: Starting at $23/hr (based on experience)

Full-time | 40+ hours/week | Overtime available

About the Role

Maritech LLC is a tough, fast-paced industrial painting company. We don’t do residential work or touch-up jobs—we blast, coat, and refinish structural steel, machinery, tanks, and more. This is real labor for real workers.

We’re hiring hardworking individuals who aren’t afraid of heights, confined spaces, heavy lifting, or heat. If you’ve worked in construction, welding, roofing, or any trade work, we want to talk to you. If you’re looking to build skill in a high-demand trade and you're reliable, teachable, and physically strong—this is your shot.

What You'll Do

Assist with abrasive blasting, pressure washing, masking, sanding, and prep

Apply industrial coatings using spray guns, rollers, and brushes

Use equipment like blast pots, airless sprayers, scissor lifts, tele-handlers

Set up and take down containment systems, scaffolding, and ventilation

Work in tight spaces, at heights, and in extreme temps (hot/cold)

Keep job sites clean, organized, and safe at all times

Follow foreman and supervisor directions closely

Travel to job sites when needed (some out-of-town work required)

Learn specialized trade skills over time (floor coatings, epoxy, etc.)

What You Need to Bring

Must be physically capable of lifting 50–125 lbs, climbing ladders, standing all day

Comfortable working in hot, cold, dusty, and noisy environments

Able to wear full PPE including respirators, blast hoods, and harnesses

Punctual, reliable, and safety-focused

Able to follow instructions and work well with a crew

Willing to travel and stay overnight for certain projects

Prior experience in construction, painting, or trades is a huge plus—but not required if you're teachable and tough

Must be drug free and able to pass pre-employment screening

Pay & Benefits

Starting at $23/hr – pay based on experience and skill level

Overtime opportunities available

On-the-job training provided

Steady work year-round

Potential for growth into lead roles or specialty certifications

Who This Job Is For

Construction workers looking to shift into painting

Trade-school grads wanting real-world experience

Laborers who can take orders and hustle

Roofers, welders, or riggers looking for steady work

This job is NOT for people who can’t show up, work hard, or follow safety rules

At Maritech LLC, we don’t just hire bodies—we build a team. We value hardworking, reliable people who take pride in what they do. When you show up and put in the work, you’ll be treated with respect, paid fairly, and given opportunities to grow. We offer steady work, real training, and a crew that looks out for each other. If you want a job where your effort actually matters, this is it.
