Overview
We are seeking a Eyeglass Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate would have experience in basic optical repair and maintenance. Experience is preferred but not required. If you are detail-oriented, artsy and enjoy working in a dynamic, fast paced environment, we would love to hear from you.
Duties
-Assembling & disassembling Eyeglass Frames
-Modification of eyeglass parts
-Lazer welding & Torch soldering
-Creating custom sun clip-ons
-Powder coating & sandblasting
-Cleaning & adjusting eyeglasses
Other Duties
-Answering phones
-Customer service & sales
-Using POS system
-Maintainging stock
-General cleaning
Requirements
- Previous experience in optical repair, preferably in an ophthalmology setting
- Excellent understanding of quality assurance practices
- Sales experience is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.18 - $21.45 per hour
Expected hours: 35 per week
Schedule:
8 hour shift
Day shift
Weekends (Saturday)
