Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including but not limited to tractor-trailers and other heavy equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Repair or replace faulty components, such as brakes, shocks, struts, hydraulic components, and on engines and transmissions.
- Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed.
- Assemble and disassemble engines and other mechanical systems.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Diesel Mechanic in a dealership or automotive repair shop a must.
- Proficient in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems and components.
- Ability to diagnose and repair electrical systems.
- Familiarity with soldering techniques for electrical connections.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
