Job Summary:

Are you ready to take the next big step in your automotive industry career? Our Meineke Car Care Center is seeking a full-time Automotive Service Manager to oversee and motivate our talented team of professionals.

The ideal candidate for this position should have a track record of successful management positions and a strong desire to succeed with integrity. This 8 Bay store has been consistently at $900K based on our Customer based model, where we help the customers understand their vehicle needs and build a plan to keep their cars repaired over the long term. By educating the customers about their cars and the benefits of identifying wear and tear items early and performing regular maintenance, they realize the lower average costs of staying ahead of the repairs rather than waiting for it break and damage other parts. Therefore, we are able to build a partnership with our customers and a pipeline of future sales.

You will oversee the daily operations of the Center with aggressive, well-defined but realistic goals. We offer a competitive base salary and financial incentives—when our Centers succeed, so do you! If you have dealership management experience and excellent communication skills, apply today!

Responsibilities

- Oversee daily operations, remedy customer complaints promptly, and ensure customer satisfaction metrics are met.

- Recruit, hire, and train staff to meet Objectives levels.

- Attend manager meetings and establish good working relationships with owners, General Manager, and dealership staff to ensure sales processes and daily unit metrics are met.

- Implement growth strategies that align with group objectives by carefully assessing profit and loss while maintaining vehicle inventory that meets the needs of the local market.

- Review weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual Performance vs Objectives for opportunities and provide solutions for both in anticipation of Senior Management's inquiries.

- Ensure that you maintain knowledge of and uphold all local, state, and federal regulations impacting vehicle repairs, and the automotive industry as a whole.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required; a high school diploma or GED equivalent needed.

- Two or more years of experience in a Service Manager or Center Manager position for a Car Care Center is necessary.

- Knowledge of the automotive industry and trends.

- Possess a state-issued driver’s license and acceptable driving record to operate company-owned vehicles.

- Strong communication skills; a track record of leadership; and the ability to interpret profit and loss statements are necessary for success.
