We are a channel partner for Infor and will focus on developing the practice around the Infor WMS application.As a WMS consultant for Design Group, you will join a core team of professionals to help continue our growth as an established, stable, strong, and thriving consulting firm. Among our customer base of over 1000+ clients, many are part of the fortune 500. Our customers are from the Food & Beverages, Medical Devices, Manufacturing, Consumer Products, and 3PL industries. You will work primarily throughout the North American customer base. You will bring your deep experience in all things in WMS (core and extended functions) and, optionally, TMS. Experience with the 3PL industry is highly desired. Consulting Responsibilities include:- Application knowledge: You will be the SME on Infor WMS or other major WMS applications like JDA, etc. with an in-depth knowledge of application features / functions and the unique business requirements of the client. Some of these areas include:
- Interfaces to the orders from EDI, ERP, etc.
- Inventory Management
- Inbound & Outbound Operations
- Yard Management
- Labor Management
- Integrations with MHE, Labeling Solutions, E-Commerce sites, Small Parcel Shipping, TMS
- Labeling Solutions
- Reporting
- Analytics
- Must have a minimum 3 years in WMS implementations.
- Will consider total WMS experience up to 9 years.
- Participate in responding to RFP's.
- Conduct discovery during presales cycle
- Ability to provide demos.
- Write scope, assist in estimates, and participate in proposal write-up
- Gather Business requirements
- Develop To-Be processes
- Discover gaps and develop workarounds.
- Write Functional Design Documents (FDD)
- Develop integration requirements.
- Map the processes with the participating systems.
- Work with technical team to help write Technical Design Documents (TDD).
- Load customer data to the system
- Configure and test the applications
- Conduct and lead System Integration Testing
- Assist customer during UAT
- Train the customers.

- Travel: less than 25% - The position is ideally based out of our St. Louis office or North Central Region (NCR) offices. The candidate is not expected to relocate. Applicants can expect to travel for very important milestones such as; requirements gathering, design reviews, conference room pilot and go-live. The vast portion of this position can be remote and done from a home office.
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related disciplines. Appropriate equivalent WMS experience can substitute for degree.
