We are seeking an experienced Server and Network Configuration person to set up our network between server and one to three Desk PC. We currently have remote access to server and have loaded some required files related Solid Works PDM.
You would be responsible for integrating and configuring connectivity between desk top PC computers and a single server providing mapping and access. This project needs to be completed as soon as possible. On site work would be best to speed the work and help in transfer of required steps.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Review server setup and optimized for performance, reliability and networking.
2) Create network connectivity between one main desk top PC and two addition external computers
3) Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation on the configurations made, including network diagrams, configuration settings, and any relevant troubleshooting guides. Carefully noting all require steps and access.
Collaboration: Work closely on-site or remote. Provide clear instructions and guidance as needed. Join a one or two meeting with SolidWorks PDM professional installer to help adjust configurations to build the network.
Qualifications:
Provide contact information for three business professional you have provided IT support
Provide your resumer showing proven experience in server setup and configuration.
In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Server and Windows Mapping.
Strong understanding of network protocols and storage solutions.
Ability to troubleshoot complex network and storage issues.
Good communication skills for effective collaboration with the remote team and on-site personnel.
Relevant certifications (e.g., Windows, Microsoft, Microsoft Severe) are a plus.
Work Environment:
This is a project-based role requiring immediate attention.
The candidate will work remotely or on site could be possible if needed. Person should be available from time to time for consulting via teams to trouble shoot any issues.
