Job Description:
We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance. As a Quality Assurance Technician at HCD, you will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections, implementing quality control procedures, and collaborating with our production team to maintain our reputation for excellence.
Responsibilities:
Perform detailed inspections of cable and wiring harness assemblies to ensure compliance with customer specifications and industry standards.
Conduct visual inspections, measurements, and functional tests to identify any defects or discrepancies.
Document inspection results accurately and maintain comprehensive records of quality control activities.
Collaborate closely with production personnel to address quality issues, implement corrective actions, and continuously improve processes.
Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance protocols, procedures, and work instructions.
Participate in internal audits and support external audits as needed.
Provide training and guidance to production staff on quality control procedures and best practices.
Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality assurance or related field, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and schematics.
Strong attention to detail and a meticulous approach to quality control.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Familiarity with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems is a plus.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work under tight deadlines.
Certification or training in quality assurance methodologies is desirable.
