Tri- State Dock and Door Service is growing again and we are looking to hire two full time dedicated, dependable Field Service Technicians. This job pays starting pay is $20.00 per hour. Please send your resume to [email protected].
We would like you to have experience with repair and maintenance of: warehouse and commercial doors; loading docs; dock- leveler’s, and other related warehouse and industrial equipment. Also experience in welding, steel fabrication, and electrical a huge plus.
You must have the ability to thrive in a fast paced, service environment. You also must have schedule flexibility, as services may need to be performed during evening hours, or on the weekends. There will be travel required. Our company has done work in Arizona, Colorado, South Carolina, Tennessee, Iowa, and others. Travel is paid and there is a per diem for your daily food allowance while out of town.
Must follow all safety procedures in performing work, as well as company policies.
High school diploma or GED is required, and must have a valid Driver’s License. Must be able to pass a standard Department of Transportation (DOT) physical.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to wear PPE (personal protective equipment), and you will need to be able to carry and operate hand tools; such as drills, screw guns, grinders, hammer drills, etc.
The employee must occasionally lift and or move heavy tools, doors, and or equipment.
The Commercial dock and door service professional will be responsible for inspecting, servicing, troubleshooting, installing, and repairing various warehouse and commercial doors; loading docks and dock- leveler’s and other related warehouse and industrial equipment. You will also perform routine preventative maintenance. You will troubleshoot industrial equipment, mechanisms, and mechanical systems.
