Maxus Properties is seeking to hire a part time Groundskeeper for Ridgewood Village Apartments in St. Peters, Missouri. Maxus Groundskeepers are responsible in part for ensuring clean, attractive visual curb appeal for our communities. This position calls for 25-30 hours per week; there may be the option to be full time with coverage at another community.

DESCRIPTION: Responsibilities of the Groundskeeper include:
Maintain the health and visual appeal of property landscaping with the watering, mowing, pruning, trimming etc of planting trees, plants, flowers and shrubs
Safely operate tools and chemicals such as shovel, mower, pruner, pressure washer, insecticide, fertilizer, etc.
Assist in preparation for inclement weather depending on climate (snow for winter, hurricanes for summer, etc).
Tidy up amenity areas (dog park, gym, pool, etc).
Pick up and dispose of refuse/debris to ensure the communities’ attractiveness and safety.
Distribute resident notices or community flyers.
Report any areas of concern to the Property Manager and Maintenance Supervisor such as items that need repairing, restocking, or vendor involvement
May be required to assist with make ready or maintenance requests, inspections, or inventory
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
6 months of experience is necessary; will train the ideal candidate.
Familiarity with Fair Housing and commitment to abiding by all Fair Housing regulations is required.
